How are the winners selected?
Different juries composed of five members will be formed: Radio, Television, Publicity, Music and International. Each Jury thus formed will elect its chairman, who will ensure the application of the rules of procedure approved by the General Secretary of the Premios Ondas.
All juries will be composed of representatives from different sectors: radio and television organisations, communication experts, critics and professionals.
Decisions will be taken by majority vote. Only in the event of a tie, the president shall have the casting vote to settle any issue. In addition, the president may, in the course of the deliberations, propose any type of measure that will help to ensure a fairer application and interpretation of these rules.
The decisions of the juries shall be final.
The meetings of the juries shall be held in camera and their deliberations shall be secret.
