The 71st edition of the Ondas Awards coincided with the centenary of Ràdio Barcelona, Spain’s oldest radio station. The gala, marked by an emotional tribute to the victims of the DANA, highlighted the essential role of the media in times of crisis. Welcoming the award winners at the Palacete Albéniz
On the morning of the 71st edition of the Ondas Awards, the award winners gathered at the traditional meeting with the media, at the Palacete Albéniz de Barcelona, to show their satisfaction and start warming up for the awards gala, which was held in the evening at Gran Teatre del Liceu.

The 71st Ondas Awards Gala
On November 14, the ceremony of the Ondas Awards was held at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. Thirty-two awards were presented, both nationally and internationally.
The gala was presented by José Luis Sastre and Miguel Maldonado, under the direction of Jordi Rosell and featured performances by Los Chichos, Estopa and the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Conservatory of Music Isaac Albéniz.
Some of the winners of this year’s edition who received their awards were: Àngels Barceló, ‘La revuelta’ by David Broncano, ‘La cena de los idiotés’, Isabel Jiménez, Marta Reyero, Mónica López and Estopa. In addition, Ignasi Taltavull and Tomás Fuentes of the podcast ‘La ruina’ and the Javis of the series ‘La Mesías’, also received recognition in this year’s awards.
On the occasion of its centenary, the Ondas have given an award to radio, which has been collected by representatives of the main radio stations in our country.
