For the correct understanding of this Privacy Policy of the website of Sociedad Española de Radiodifusión S.L.U. (hereinafter, RADIO BARCELONA), the following definition is provided:

The User shall be any physical or legal person or entity who accesses the RADIO BARCELONA website by any means without the need to register. The Privacy Policy of the RADIO BARCELONA website is applicable to:

  • Browsing as a User undertaken on the RADIO BARCELONA website.

RADIO BARCELONA, as part of the Grupo PRISA, has voluntarily appointed a Data Protection Officer, through whom the User may address complaints, claims and suggestions regarding the processing of their personal data, as well as exercise their rights therein. d) Purposes of processing Users’ personal data


The data provided by the User through the RADIO BARCELONA website is used for the following purposes:

  • To facilitate the User’s access and navigation of the website. 
  • To manage incidents and maintenance of the RADIO BARCELONA website.

g) Minors


Minors under 14 years of age are not use the services of the RADIO BARCELONA website without the consent of their parents or guardians. In the event that RADIO BARCELONA detects users who may be under 14 years of age, RADIO BARCELONA reserves the right to request a copy of their Identity card or equivalent document, or, where appropriate, the authorization of their parents or guardians.


h) Users’ Rights


Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, portability and limitation by contacting RADIO BARCELONA by mail to the given address of RADIO BARCELONA, providing sufficient proof of their identity and specifying the right they wish to exercise. The User will have the right to file a complaint or claim before the Spanish Data Protection Authority (www.aepd.es) and before the Data Protection Officer of the Grupo Prisa, the parent company of RADIO BARCELONA (dpo@prisa.com). 


i) Data retention period


The User’s personal data will be actively processed for as long as they are a User of the RADIO BARCELONA website, i.e., as long as they choose not to exercise their rights of cancellation or revocation. In the event that a User exercises their right of deletion, their data will be blocked and kept in restricted form at the disposal of the competent authorities for the time necessary to meet any liabilities arising from the processing.

j) Legitimacy for data processing

The legal basis for the above processing is the legitimate interest of RADIO BARCELONA in providing and controlling access to the RADIO BARCELONA website.
