The Jury has decided to award the Ondas International Prize to
Television to the program “Švédi z osady” (Swedes from the Slum)
RTVS (Radio and Television Slovakia) co-produced with The Alliance of Women, because it is a program about the inclusion of minorities through adoption and shows a return to the abandoned home. It is a documentary that expresses emotions with an agile, dynamic and spontaneous narrative. Television
Slovakia shows great generosity when it comes to dealing with
places of origin of the children who were given up for adoption.
The viewer is faced with the image of families who have been forced to give up their children.
